Remuage aid (bentonite/alginate) suitable for the elaboration of sparkling wines with the traditional classic method, both for manual and automated systems.

CLEANSPARK® is a clarification aid specifically designed to facilitate the remuage operations in the elaboration of sparkling wines according to the classic method.

CLEANSPARK® has been specifically formulated to promote:

  • The perfect clarification of bottled wines.
  • The rapid and total removal of solid particles from the wine.
  • The sliding of the deposit on the bottle wall without the slightest trace remaining.

CLEANSPARK® can be used in both automatic and manual remuage, with any type of yeast, with or without agglomerating characteristics.

CLEANSPARK® is absolutely neutral from an organoleptic point of view.

CLEANSPARK® has been specifically formulated to promote:

  • The perfect clarification of bottled wines,
  • The rapid and total removal of solid particles from the wine,
  • The flow of the deposit on the bottle wall without the slightest trace of it remaining.

Upon incorporation, CLEANSPARK® forms a reticular flocculum that traps and covers the yeast cells, preventing them from adhering to the bottle walls during storage on the cans; CLEANSPARK® also enables a compact, non-adherent and easy-to-remove sediment to be obtained.

OENOLOGICAL CONDITIONS

  • Never add CLEANSPARK® directly to the mass.
  • Ensure that the living blastomycetic population at the time of tirage is between 1 and 2 x 106 cells per mL of wine.
  • Prepare the wine for the tirage; make up the liqueur de tirage by adding the sugar, then the yeast and then the other components; CLEANSPARK® will be added at the end.
  • It is recommended to keep the liqueur de tirage in agitation throughout the operations. Its addition to the mass must be as regular as possible; the use of a dosing pump or an OENODOSEUR is strongly recommended for this purpose.
  • Do not shake the bottles before remuage. Resuspension of the sediment may lead to the formation of floating corpuscles that are difficult to eliminate.

Doses of use:
60 to 100 mL of CLEANSPARK® per hL of wine in tirage.

Application:
Prepare, before use, a 25% solution in cold water (1L of CLEANSPARK® L in 3 L of water). Considering the total number of lies to be removed at the end of frothing, the dose of CLEANSPARK® L to be used should correspond to approximately 10 mL/hL per million cells/mL.

Storage instructions:
Store, preferably at moderate temperature, in the undamaged original packaging, not in direct contact with soil, in dry and odour-free rooms.

  • DLUO (Optimal Use By Date): 1 year.
  • Do not use if the packaging is not intact.
