Acid sanitizing detergent for wineries and oenology

After cleaning operations, it can be difficult to completely remove alkaline detergent residues in wineries. Citric acid–based solutions neutralize these residues but leave a film on surfaces that becomes a breeding ground for undesirable microorganisms such as yeasts and bacteria.

X-Wash is the acid sanitizing formulation developed by AEB that effectively solves this problem. Its special combination of organic acids and sanitizing agents:

• Prevents microbial growth, keeping winemaking surfaces safe and ready for use;
• Provides shine even in the presence of hard water;
• Prolongs equipment hygiene without the need for immediate further washing.

Thanks to these features, X-Wash allows storage tanks to remain sanitized even if they are not filled immediately after washing.

Main applications of X-Wash:

• Final rinsing of winemaking equipment;
• Maintenance of filter layers between filtrations;
• Preparation of solutions for the preservation of microfiltration membranes;
• Bottle washer rinsing;
• Keeping pH-Stab columns or other containers moist and sanitized.
