Detergent for the regeneration of barriques used for a long time

The formulation of Barrique Régénérateur consists of two components and is recommended for the regeneration of barriques which have contained white or red wines for a prolonged period of time. It completely eliminates tartrates and residues of coloring matter, unclogging the pores from all residues. Both components must be mixed and preferably used at temperatures between 50°C and 60°C; at lower temperatures, cleaning time should be extended. Barrique Régénérateur can be used with automatic washing systems or through the special Venturi meter installed on the barrique-washer or by filling the barrique with a 1:10 solution for at least 30 minutes.

Directions for Use*

• Just before use, pour the content of the bottle into the drum, mix and introduce into the barrique full of water. Mix and leave to act for at least one hour. The solution can be used for washing 5/10 barriques according to the quantity of scale to be removed. With the help of barrique washers, aspirate the mixed product with the Venturi tube. For barriques where the wine has stayed for less than six months, the content of the drum with the two components can be used to regenerate 15 barrels.
