Global GF-98: The Essential Professional Multipurpose Knife for Every Kitchen

The Global GF-98 chef’s knife is a medium-sized multipurpose kitchen tool, designed for professional use but also ideal for home cooking. With a 20.5 cm blade and an overall length of 33.5 cm, it is perfect for working with both meat and fish with precision, efficiency, and safety.

The blade is forged from special Cromova 18 stainless steel—a molybdenum-vanadium alloy with a Rockwell hardness of 56–58 HRC—which ensures long-lasting sharpness and excellent corrosion resistance. The final handcrafted sharpening guarantees high performance even after repeated intensive use.

The ergonomic stainless steel handle is hollow and filled with sand to ensure perfect balance and reduce fatigue during prolonged use. The seamless one-piece construction between blade and handle provides a secure grip and prevents food residue buildup, ensuring maximum hygiene and easy cleaning.

Useful Tips:

To best preserve the quality of the knife, even though it is made of stainless steel, hand washing with warm water and neutral soap is recommended, followed by immediate drying with a soft cloth. The use of a dishwasher is not advised to prevent potential damage caused by the oxidizing salts in aggressive detergents. For optimal maintenance, prolonged contact with acidic substances should be avoided, as they may cause slight surface oxidation.
