Description
YAKINIKU® MEDIUM Shichirin Rectangular Black Edition Tabletop Grill for 4–6 People
The YAKINIKU® MEDIUM Shichirin Rectangular Black Edition brings the authentic tradition of Japanese grilling straight to your table, combining it with a modern, minimalist and elegant design.
Compact, practical and versatile, this ceramic tabletop barbecue is ideal for preparing Yakitori, meat, fish and vegetables, providing intense, even heat while enhancing the natural flavours of the ingredients.
Compact, with all the cooking space you need
With a width of 43 cm and a depth of 23 cm, the MEDIUM Shichirin provides a generous cooking surface while maintaining compact dimensions. Its rectangular shape makes it easy to arrange several skewers at the same time and is particularly suitable for preparing Yakitori.
The high-temperature-resistant ceramic construction helps retain and distribute heat efficiently, providing a stable heat source throughout cooking.
It is ideal for 4–6 people and, thanks to its compact size and weight of approximately 13 kg, it can be used not only in the garden or on the terrace, but can also be taken along on camping trips or picnics.
Black Edition: modern design and matt black finish
The Black Edition immediately stands out for its elegant, smooth matt black finish, giving the Shichirin a contemporary and refined look.
Its minimalist design also allows the Shichirin to blend easily into a variety of outdoor settings, from a modern terrace or outdoor kitchen to a garden dining table.
Authentic Japanese Konro-style grilling
The Shichirin is inspired by the traditional Japanese Konro grill, designed to achieve precise cooking with intense, consistent heat.
For an authentic experience, it can be used with Binchotan charcoal, valued for its long burn time, high temperature and exceptionally clean combustion. The result is a cooking method that enhances the flavour of food without overpowering its natural characteristics.
From classic Yakitori skewers to fish, meat and lightly grilled vegetables, the Shichirin lets you explore a wide variety of Japanese-style dishes directly at the table.

Maintenance is simple: after each use, simply allow the Shichirin to cool completely, remove any residual ash and clean the cooking grate.

Tips for Using Binchotan Charcoal
To light Binchotan, it is recommended to create a base layer of softer charcoal, such as acacia charcoal, and place Binchotan pieces diagonally on top. This method facilitates ignition and prolonged combustion. Alternatively, a gas burner can be used, which takes approximately 15 minutes to fully ignite the charcoal.
