Electric Wax Seal Melter
The wax seal melter is a useful tool for properly sealing bottles containing wine or other food-grade liquids. Made of stainless steel, it includes a removable melting pot and is equipped with a practical handle that allows easy handling. The electric wax seal melter is manufactured with highly heat- and wear-resistant materials to ensure professional performance over time. The shellac sealing device operates on a 220V power supply and is very easy to use: once the device is switched on, simply place the shellac into the container and wait for it to melt. The thermostat for temperature adjustment allows the resin to melt correctly at all times, preventing overheating, bubble formation, burns, and frequent color alterations of the product. Once the shellac has melted, the bottle neck can be dipped into the melting pot, ensuring that the cap is completely covered. In this way, the stainless steel wax seal melter can seal different types of bottles, enhancing the container with a refined closure and a touch of elegance.

Functioning:
- insert the plug into the power supply socket
- on the handle there is a thermostat with a graduated scale, set it to 60/70° and leave it on for about ten minutes
- when the wax/rubber starts to melt, reduce the thermostat to level 40/50 for a further 10/15 minutes, try not to let the wax/rubber melt too much and become too liquid
- once you achieve a level of consistency that is not too liquid and homogeneous, adjust the thermostat to level 5/10
- at this point the wax/rubber sealing process can begin; take the product to be sealed, dip the neck of the bottle into the mixture inside the saucepan and turn it in order to check first of all that the wax/rubber has covered the neck homogeneously and then to make sure that any surplus material is removed to further simplify the distribution and drying of the product.
Usage and maintenance rules:
- the product must only be used by professionals
- do not use water, oils, degreasers, acids, etc. for cleaning.
- to remove excess wax/rubber present in the container, it is advisable to turn the thermostat up to level 70, letting any excess melt away. At this point, turn the pot upside down using the special handle to pour it outwards; when the pot is almost cool (lukewarm) clean it with a cloth
use special gloves for high temperatures
N.B. the instructions and advice given above for melting shellac or wax are purely illustrative; therefore in winter periods temperatures should be higher, vice versa colder in summer periods.
