Nobile Barrel Refresh is a system of insertable elements (mini staves) expressly conceived to prolong the service life of oak barrels.

In fact, it diffuses into the wine, progressively during ageing, the specific characters expressed by the toasting of NOBILE® Staves.

Characteristics:

• High-quality French oak, natural maturation of 24 months in the open air
• Dimensions: 7 x 2 (32x2,3x0,7 cm)
• Pack of 10 barrels

Usage

Dosage: 1 to 3 Barrel Refresh/barrique depending on the degree of exhaustion of the container and the intensity of the desired woody note.

Contact time: 4 to 6 months depending on the product and the type of wine.
The doses must be rationally established on the basis of the characteristics of the wine being matured and the specific oenological objectives set. Contact times can be adjusted in the course of the process on the basis of the results obtained during tasting.
