LEVEL I BEER PRODUCTION COURSE, ALL GRAIN METHOD

The art of brewing, a fascinating hobby that has been attracting more and more people for several years.

A comprehensive brewing course that will allow anyone to easily approach the wonderful world of beer.
With our all-grain course, you'll be able to brew craft beer in just two lessons. The course is designed to be easy to follow and costs just €85, which includes dinner, registration, course materials, brunch, snacks, and coffee during the brew.

The course will be held at our headquarters in Via Carnello 323, Isola del Liri (FR), starting on Friday at 6:00 pm (theory) and ending on Saturday at 3:00 pm.

Plan:

Friday at 6:00 pm (theory)

  • Introduction: History of beer.
  • The raw materials: water, barley malt, hops and yeast.
  • Equipment: what is essential for proper brewing.
  • The various stages of production: mashing, sparging and filtration, boiling, yeast inoculation.
  • Bottling and carbonation: refermentation in the bottle.

...at this point you will be able to face "the crush" that will take place the next day.

Dinner with tasting of various beer styles.

Saturday morning at 8:30 am (practice)

  • Grinding of malted barley grains.
  • Mashing with an explanation of the various steps, from mash-in to mash-out.
  • Filtration (washing) of the dregs with sparge water.
  • Boiling and hopping.
  • Cooling.
  • I inoculate yeasts.
  • Carbonation and bottling of a previous brew.

During the Saturday morning coffee break and brunch

The course will be taught by our staff; there won't be master brewers, but people with a wealth of passion, culture, and experience in the brewing field, willing to share their experiences.

For those wishing to stay overnight, we have a special agreement with the Hotel Locanda Mingone, which will be happy to accommodate you for just 50 euros, including breakfast, or 70 euros for a double room, payable locally (to reserve a room, simply specify this in the order notes; we'll take care of it). If rooms are not available at MiIngone, rooms will be booked in nearby hotels.

We remind those wishing to register that the course will be held upon reaching 20 registered participants and registration closes at 35 registered participants.
