Vienna barley malt is the main ingredient used in the production of golden-coloured beers, such as lagers, and is also used to intensify the colour and aroma of light, self-produced beers. Available in 1 kg bags, Vienna barley malt on sale at Polsinelli Enologia undergoes a drying process at higher temperatures, around 80°C, than Pilsner and Pale Ale, which gives it its characteristic sweet taste and amber tone. With its high enzyme activity, Vienna is a product of excellence, ideal for meeting the production requirements of both breweries and homebrewers. The careful selection of raw materials and an assured dosage up to 100%, allow to obtain beers of marked sweetness and allow its use in addition to other special malts. In order to best preserve the organoleptic characteristics of Vienna barley malt, we recommend storing it in a cool, dry place at a temperature below 22°C.
