Detergent ASEPTO FL-D P.M.C CHLOR (24 kg)
Alkaline chlorinated cleaning disinfectant for milking and milk storage facilities and the food industry.
Surgical Medical Device - Registration n°20060 of the Ministry of Health.
Properties:
- Excellent washing and disinfecting properties
- Free of silicates and phosphates
- Excellent compatibility with materials
- Non-foaming, suitable for hard waters
Chemical-physical properties:
- Physical appearance: pale yellow liquid
- Storage stability: -15 to +30°C
- Solubility: at 20°C miscible in water in any ratio Density: 1.18 - 1.22 g/cm3 (at 20°C)
- pH: 12.5-13.0 (1% at 20°C in demineralised water)
- Compatibility: Asepto FL-D, at the use concentrations given below, is compatible with stainless steel (minimum quality AISI 304) and the most common polymers used in the food industry (PVC, PE, EPDM, VITON, NBR, etc.). Aluminium and soft metals cannot be treated with Asepto FL-D.
Application:
Food industry. Dairy, Beverage (CIP, Lavatunnel, manual soaking): concentration 0.5-1%; room temperature to 60°C.
Directions for use:
- Pre-rinse.
- Sanitise with a 0.5-1.0% solution. Contact time should be at least 10/15 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly with drinking water.
Beverage sector: rinse at room temperature.
The parameters are to be considered indicative; temperature, concentration and rinsing time depend on the type and degree of soiling. Asepto FL-D can also be used successfully in bottling, fruit production, meat production etc.

Titration
- In Erlenmeyer flask: 100 ml of the usage solution
- Titrator: HCl 1 N
- Indicator: phenolphthalein
- Chlorine neutraliser: powdered sodium thiosulphate
- Titration factor: 0.44
Take 100 ml of solution, add a spatula tip of powdered sodium thiosulphate to neutralise the chlorine. Add 2-3 drops of phenolphthalein and titrate with HCl 1N until the colour changes from pink to colourless.
ml of HCl 1N consumed x 0.44 = % of Asepto FL-D
